Does your band want to play at BOTMA?

We are always looking for good bands to perform for our audience at our monthly stage shows. Our meeting dates are always the third Sunday of the month from September to May with the exception of December. We do on occasion sponsor stage shows in one of our Pickin’ In The Park sessions during the summer months as well. If your band plays acoustic instruments, (electric bass is ok) and performs bluegrass, old time, country, folk, Americana or roots music, we’d love to talk with you about playing on our stage!

We are an all-volunteer organization from our staff to our talent. We provide a great venue, terrific sound both for you onstage and for the audience, professional lighting and a very appreciative audience. Our goal is to provide a place where an audience can hear great local talent like yours.

Our sets are 40 minutes long, with five minutes to reset the stage for the next band. Band members and their spouses get free admission. As a small token of our appreciation we also provide a ticket which you can redeem at the refreshment stand for a hot or cold beverage of your choice. We have two warm up rooms behind the stage for you to get ready to perform in.

Once your set is over, we encourage you to stick around and join in one of the many jams that are happening in the building (and sometimes outside when the weather is nice). The stage show is in the auditorium. The jams are located in the rest of the building both upstairs and downstairs. If you are interested in performing on our stage, please call Jim Hankins at 732-657-5254.
